Author should credit his sources|By 19cbb|You can save some dollars and read the original account by Lillywhite, which is free as open source on the internet. Oh, and Mr. Reeves, was it to hard to credit a certain blogger (me) for the free information you got on George Sauter on your Philly chapter? It took many hours to research this information. Btw, he|About the Author|Scott Reeves is a writer and publisher from Yorkshire, a county he claims produces the finest cricketers in the world. He also follows Boston Red Sox on the other side of the Atlantic.

In 1859, twelve cricketers left Liverpool to embark on the first overseas tour by a representative England side. Their destination was the place where cricket looked most likely to flourish: Canada and the United States.
